• Parkes regional Cabinet meeting

  Several times a year, all Ministers in the NSW Government meet together outside Sydney to listen to people in rural communities. On Tuesday 29 July, a regional Cabinet meeting was held in Parkes - and kids were invited.

• Commissioner chats with kids in Grafton

  On Thursday 3 July 2008, Gillian Calvert, Commissioner, and Steve Cansdell, local MP and member of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Children and Young People, toured Grafton to talk with local kids about things that were important to them.

• Young people from Brookvale TAFE talk with the Commission about the school leaving age
