The Commonwealth Senate Legal and Constitutional Committee has reported following its consideration of new legal protections for under-18s giving evidence in criminal proceedings in respect of sexual offences.
The first report by the Committee on Children and Young People into the 1999 - 2000 Annual Report of the Commission for Children and Young People finds the Commission successfully completed its' first year. The report especially commends the establishment of an employment screening process.
