Results
- Child-safe Child-friendly resources accessed 12,127 times online.
- Delivery of eight training programs attended by 147 people.
- Targeting sports and tutoring organisations for support and development of Child-safe and Child-friendly practices.

Organisations deter unsuitable people from working with children.
Results
- 238,400 background checks conducted.
- 608 risk assessments undertaken.
- 98% of preferred applicants assessed as high risk were not employed.
- 91 Prohibited Persons applied for a review of their status.

Recommendations of the Child Death Review Team are adopted.
Results
- Improvements to the Child Death Register and collection of additional data has allowed for the development of a full data set for the Child Death Review Team’s upcoming 10 year research study.
- The Commission convened the first meeting with Australian and New Zealand Child Death Review Teams to exchange information.

Results
- Made 17 submissions to formal inquiries, including the NSW Parliamentary Committee on Children and Young People to their Inquiry into Children and Young People and the Built Environment.
- The Commission became a founding member of Business Initiating Social Impact (BISI) Australia.
- Released What about the kids? Improving the experiences of infants and young children in a changing world.
- 70 recommendations adopted by other organisations.
- Conducting 68 presentations on children’s issues.

Results
- Reviewed our experience of participation and produced Sharing Our Journey the final module of the TAKING PARTicipation Seriously (TPS) kit.
- Young People’s Reference Group (YRPG) met eight times and contributed to submissions on the Built Environment, Health Futures and other issues.
- Department of Community Services (DoCS) and Department of aging, Disability and Homecare (DADHC) participation in their training and policy documents.
- Relevant material from TAKING PARTicipation Seriously (TPS) kit included for the first time in the NSW Interagency Guidelines for Child Protection Intervention.
