The Commission's strategic directions will guide our decisions about what we do for the three years 2008-2011. They will be enacted through the planning we do for our business operations, projects, activities, responses and individual performance objectives

Our strategic direction is primarily influenced by knowing what children value as contributing to their well-being, what enables that well-being and our legislative requirements. We know this from our research into children’s understanding of well-being. Basing our directions on this research places children at the heart of our strategic directions.
