Notes: Data based on centres accredited on June 30 of each year (percentage based on centres eligible for an accreditation decision). Comment

The proportion of accredited NSW Long Day Care centres has varied somewhat across the years, but with an apparently increasing trend until 2006. The proportion of accredited centres increased from 92.5% in 2007 to 93.1% in 2008. This reverses the decrease seen between 2006 and 2007.

From 1999 to 2008, the proportion of accredited centres in NSW has been similar to Australia as a whole.
