Participation of children in organised activities outside school hours in the last 12 months varies with the remoteness of the child’s home.
The proportion participating declined as remoteness increased.
Over three-quarters (75.6%) of children in highly accessible areas participated compared with less than half (45.0%) in very remote areas.
