The top four favourite activities, as nominated by parents or carers, were:

  • playing, either at home, in the park or in the front or back yard (21.9%)
  • playing sport (21.6%)
  • watching television, movies, videos or using a computer (16.0%)
  • riding bikes, scooters, skateboarding or rollerblading (11.3%)
