The Commission has three meeting rooms available for kids and groups that work with kids.

We’re a short walk from Sydney’s Central station so it’s easy for people to get to and from city and country buses and trains. There’s a balcony, kitchen facilities, a chill-out space and a play area for young children. All the furniture in the rooms can be moved and all rooms have good wheelchair access.

Our meeting rooms take their names from principles from our Act and the United Nations International Convention on the Rights of the Child. The rooms are subject to availability and if you book, there are conditions you must agree to.

  • Participation Room: Big enough for a meeting of about 30 people sitting at a table or 50 people sitting lecture style. The room includes a large table, whiteboard and audio visual facilities.
  • Best Interests Room: Seats about 20 people comfortably, with a whiteboard.
  • Family Room: Suitable for smaller groups, it seats about 10 people.
